I'm an architect and business owner, designing solutions to complex questions. I consider myself fortunate to have career that continually evolves, and builds upon an ever-expanding array of project types, clients, consultants, and teammates.I'm inspired by the people and organizations I have met along the way who lead with passion and authenticity on their path to building a beneficial legacy.My project experience includes design work on over $1 Billion in construction throughout the United States for clients in the fields of corporate, healthcare, logistics, cultural, historic, education, and critical infrastructure. I'm a licensed Architect in Florida, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Minnesota, Texas, and South Carolina. I'm certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, in addition to an accreditation with the United States Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction.My professional career began in Bozeman, Montana while achieving a Masters in Architecture at Montana State University. There, I was surrounded by peers and professors that instilled a design sense rooted in critical thinking and creativity. Balancing these two elements has been at the root of my pursuit of design solutions ever since.Aside from the desk job, I enjoy the construction side of the field as well, beginning my experience in the general construction trades while concurrently pursuing my degree in Montana. Alongside several colleagues from the University, our construction and research work in post-modern, computer-aided manufacturing in rural Montana went on to be featured in national publications and museums, later forming the foundation for a segment of my thesis work.This early field work left more than just an impact on my research career when a construction accident caused me to fall more than 30'. After multiple emergency medical procedures over the course of several weeks, several more months in a wheel chair, and many more in recovery, I was able to walk again. It's rare anyone notices the scars or the limp (a testament to modern medicine), but to me they're a daily reminder that I received a second chance that day. Ever since, it has been my goal to make the most of each new opportunity while seeking to work with people who inspire me. If I'm lucky, I'll inspire a few others along the way.
