Hi - I'm Sean, a chartered architect. Along with my business partner, Richard, I help turn dreams and vague ideas into real buildings for real people to live and work in. Together, we have our own architects practice and, after accumulating vital experience from the age of 16, I now love having my own business and having a say in the kinds of projects I get to develop. I enjoy the outdoor life - as does my cocker spaniel, Ellie, so it's no surprise that I like working on rural conversions. The farming community has been extremely innovative in recent years and I've helped land agents and planning consultants to convert old farm buildings into new homes, children's nurseries and health spas as well as working on traditional barn and church conversions. I love the imaginative challenge of working on bespoke, one-off homes too - as an architect, there's nothing better than helping someone to realise their dream and create something really unusual. I also work with building developers who need an architect. My favourite projects are small housing developments with up to 10 or 20 homes. I like making sure they sit comfortably within their local environment while at the same time fulfilling a vital housing need. It's important to me to build a rapid rapport with a new client so you'll find me pretty easy going (as the father of a young boy I get plenty of practice!). I can also promise you high quality drawings. In my experience, they show the planning office that you really know what you're doing and can make for a smoother journey through the whole process. If you have an idea for a building - however vague or unusual - do give me a call. In fact, give me a challenge!
