I am the project, release, and scrum manager in the team responsible for the point of sale infrastructure in Target's 1,934 stores. I am responsible for agile operations, managing strategic project execution, partner engagement, and our software release cadence.We just completed our full chain conversion to a Linux-based operating environment and Java-based device manager product across our 50,000+ registers. My execution approach was to break down work around distinct and progressing goals, guiding our work prioritizations, and making sure we deliver milestones on time. I worked with our principal engineer to define release and testing processes while developing the release documentation, deployment and rollout progressions, managing communication across teams, and keeping senior leaders informed. Through CI/CD, we delivered 50 releases over the year to meet our project goals.

I am the engineering manager for Target's Endpoint Platform leading a team of five engineers in developing our own solution for managing Android devices at stores and driving $3M+ in yearly savings. I am responsible for product strategy and roadmap, refining and prioritizing requirements, defining the scope of our quarterly goals, guiding the engineers to ensure sprints stay on track, and collaborating with partners to ensure dependencies are handled.My team is creating a distributed deployment capability to allow real-time updates using CI/CD technologies, Spinnaker, and content cache. We started with a minimum viable product in our lab and have continuously iterated to bring into a five-store pilot before peak season, then starting full-chain conversions after the holidays.

Led global team of engineers and contractors to operate and support Microsoft Windows deployment capability utilizing System Center Configuration Manger. Over 150,000 devices under management ranging from PCs, servers, registers, kiosks, scales, and media players located in HQ, stores, distribution centers, and global offices. Drove over $500K expense reductions by retiring 3rd-party licensing and releasing contractors. Led a significant simplification project by setting up a new greenfield instance of SCCM and migration of managed endpoints resulting in greater reliability to fit my reduced size team. Integrate SCCM with Target's technology modernization through creation of RESTful API to perform administrative tasks. Created and managed roadmap to continually reduce Target’s dependence on SCCM through migrating capabilities to other technologies or tools.

Responsible for over 225 store development and test environments and 800 devices located in Minneapolis, Bangalore, and Chennai. Management of 25 contractors based in US, Uruguay, and India. Provide build and support services to project teams, track and lifecycle server and lab devices, and improve performance and delivery through service level reporting.

Operational oversight of a portfolio of Target supply chain applications encompassing domestic and import transportation, replenishment, order, EDI, business partner management, and more. Directed associates and contractors to improve support metrics and mature processes for better outcomes. Led support teams through high impact issue resolutions. Met with business clients to review performance and plan for future projects.Led an end-to-end Food Supply Chain Support team to improve overall reliability. Dropped high impact issue count from an average of three a month to over 100 days of no high impacts. Our efforts received recognition from business directors and distribution management.

Served as primary technical interface to sales accounts. Collaborated with sales in assessing business needs and developing proposals around our solutions. Led teams in the delivery of projects to technical specifications and within budget. Part of special projects team that ported C applications to Intel-based UNIX system. Then served as the liaison between field consultants and development organizations as an expert on NCR network and systems management products. Lead consultant on key project of network and systems management design, implementation, and support at West Coast bank to support multi-state branch infrastructure.
