Wright Scholar
For the summer after my senior year of high school, I was invited back to the Gaming Research Integration for Learning Laboratory (GRILL) to complete another summer internship. For this summer, my team developed a gamified assessment of cognitive ability to be used in a study on the effect of extreme sound on pilots' mental capacity. We created the simulation in Unreal Engine, and I personally worked on features such as CSV parsing for importable settings and CSV writing for extensive data logging. Since it was my second summer at the GRILL, I took more of a leadership role by helping delegate tasks and making plans for our client meetings.
