I was involved with construction from an early age working as a carpenter with my father, from those experiences it gave me aspirations of paving a future in the industry, not just in Ireland, but Internationally. A native of Wexford Ireland, I came to New York for temporary employment with a mechanical contractor before returning home to further my education at the Waterford Institute of Technology. I obtained a BSc in Construction Economics and a BSc (H) in Quantity Surveying with the highest distinctions, in addition to becoming a LEED Green Associate and qualifying as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, MRICS.In 2012, my family and I permanently relocated to New York to join Clune Construction, helping to grow and develop the company into the industry leader it is today. Once I had my feet on the ground I transitioned quickly from the office to the field where I began managing some of Clune’s largest projects. In helping to grow the fledgling New York office I rose rapidly through the ranks, accumulating in a promotion to Vice President in 2019.I have both developed and supported the company’s initiatives for growth and sustainability nationally, in addition to running some of the more complex and time-sensitive projects.Now my journey has taken me to the United kingdom in search of new and exciting challenges to further my career.I am passionate about what I do continually striving for excellence in every facet.
