I have held several positions that required me to develop and cultivate presentation, problem solving, and persuasion techniques. Currently, I work for Carhartt as a Consumer Experience Leader. I have also worked with and continue to support Build Jake's Place, a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide children with disabilities access to the same means of play that any child should experience.While my formal and educational experiences have given me the tools I need to add value in the business world, no one is made up of a single layer. For myself, that extra facet comes in the form of writing and computer hardware. Writing fiction is a recent, but quickly growing joy of mine. To be able to build a world, share it, and have people relate to it, fantasize about it, or even wish they lived there is beyond fulfilling. On the topic of computers, I have built several for personal use, and taken classes or personal lessons on some of the finer details such as soldering and circuitry.
