E+Co was an impact oriented investment firm focused renewable energy and clean technology investments in emerging markets. I supported sourcing, transaction analysis, and portfolio company engagement for East Africa.

Expansion Capital Partners, LLC was a venture capital firm specializing in investments in expansion stage and growth stage companies. I worked to assess investments in clean technology - including energy, manufacturing and industrial processes, advanced material, water and wastewater, and transportation. I was part of the deal team which led a $22M series A investment into a sustainable building technology company, which is now public and trades on NASDAQ as DRTT (https://www.dirtt.com/)

Heart Social Investment’s overall vision is to empower promising social enterprise concepts with business management skills and financial resources to tackle the pressing problems facing our society. As the Head of Strategy and Business Development of HSI, I helped structure and launch a social venture fund as a vehicle to help investors deploy capital to social enterprises in South Africa. Our objective was to create a new capital structure for social enterprises in order to unlock a new frontier of social change which would otherwise be impossible through traditional charitable funding structures.
