Lead efforts in container orchestration in Kubernetes from cluster design and creation in EKS via Terraform, CI/CD in Github Actions and Spinnaker, APM and logging in Datadog, Observability and alerting in Prometheus and Grafana, and documentation on all components including runbooks for migrating legacy applications. Lead secure Identity Provider (IdP) standardization using Single Sign On (SSO) with Okta across all SRE-owned services including in-depth role-based AWS authentication for multiple AWS accounts via the console, CLI and kubectl.Participation in Incident response and SLA retrospectives, 24/7 on-call rotation, slack-based developer support on a fully remote SRE team, numerous architectural migrations including: Chef versions, OS versions (Ubuntu 12.04 to CentOS 7) and a physical Datacenter to an AWS well-architected environment utilizing managed services where available and immutable containerized applications in EKS.

Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day IT infrastructure, planning, administration, technical buying and management for all in-office computers, network resources, servers and A/V equipment.Some key projects/roles include:• Rollout of a full company-wide Apple computer refresh, coupled with the implementation of a JAMF Software Server (JSS) using the Casper Application Suite.• Replacement and configuration of a full office LAN (switching, firewalls, routers, WAN)• Frequent network maintenance tasks including: switch and firewall management, virtualizing test environments through VMWare/CentOS, VLAN tagging, implementation of VPN services/restrictions, maintaining systems security standards to observe PCI Compliance.• Writing and implementation of a multitude out custom scripts for resource configuration management and backup• Management of NAS, replication and backup versioning to Amazon S3• Setup Nagios to monitor all in-office resources• Consolidating of computer imaging, asset management and vendor relations• Creating instructional manuals and documentation for all infrastructural and policy changes on both technical and user levels• General help desk support when needed supporting 130 local users, a U.K. satellite office, and many remote users around the world

Responsible for hardware and software troubleshooting, component isolation, training, documentation and physical repairs. All while learning on-the-fly and providing expert level end user customer service.
