My duties as a retail assistant in Primark entailed setting and maintaining standards in one of the busiest Primark stores in Ireland. I was tasked with various duties such as;o Providing excellent customer service to everyone who entered the store, and encouraging my co-workers to do the same through leading by exampleo Maintaining the standards of stock on the floor, and replenishing stock from the stockroom, if neededo Mentoring and coaching new employees in the store by showing them the basics of stockroom management, merchandising standards and customer service.o I was also tasked with operating tills. This is an important responsibility with responsibility for handling large amounts of money and ensuring the till was accounted for at the end of the day.
