Sean provides leadership for library efforts to promote and support digital scholarship initiatives across campus. He plans, coordinates, manages, and evaluates all activities in conjunction with the library's strategic directions and reports to the Director of User Services and Library IT. In this role, Sean supervises, evaluates and provides professional support to staff in the Digital Scholarship and Initiatives Department. He identifies and implements evolving digital tools and resources that advance scholarly investigation while building upon traditional research methodologies. Working with faculty, researchers and students, this position seeks to further successful use and integration of digital tools in research, teaching and learning. Sean is a partner and resource person for subject librarians and curators and will serve as a liaison providing research assistance, information literacy instruction and collection development in his assigned subject area.
