I’m a veteran full stack software engineer with 9 years of working experience. I’m interested in early-stage companies and/or companies with new products that are rapidly evolving. I excel at interfacing with departments outside of tech and have served as a bridge between business and tech in my past roles.I started my career building a prototype of Energy Acuity's SaaS platform, and within four months of me joining the company, Energy Acuity had signed up their first corporate customer based on a demo of that prototype. Since then, I've been hooked on working at startups and helping to launch new products. Even when I've worked at large organizations, it was helping the Colorado Department of Labor build entirely new web applications in the unemployment insurance area. My other work has included coordinating a team of contractors and Googlers for the technical side of the launch of PeaceJam's One Billion Acts of Peace campaign, which was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2015. I managed an agile development team at ScoreBig that worked on marketing initiatives and the top of half of the conversion funnel for their eCommerce site. In addition, I managed a small team that built a new version of a virtual reality mobile application for Coachella.Outside of work, I'm an avid hiker and lover of national parks.
