Built Cisco's Incident Response Business and organization from the ground up. In a short couple of years- in a very crowded field- it had been recognized as a market leading business with triple digit YOY growth, and an ARR of $50MM+. One of our main competitors was acquired by Palo Alto Networks for $250MM.Responsibilities included business strategy, P&L ownership, mentoring, management, delivery oversight, methodology development, marketing, sales enablement, product management, analyst relations, media and press work, evangelism, and much more. Our team assisted customers with both Incident Response to active intrusions and attacks, as well as partnering with customers in numerous other areas related to Intel, Detection, and Response. Proactive services included Threat Hunting, Compromise Assessments, Table Top Exercises, Cyber Range Training, Purple Teaming, Incident Response Plans or Playbooks, and more.I was honored as a Cisco Distinguished Speaker during my tenure.

Reporting directly to the VP & IT Risk Officer (CISO), I was responsible for leading one of the largest security organizations at GE and was tasked with the global governance of detecting and responding to network intrusions across all of GE’s businesses (e.g. Capital, Oil & Gas, Energy Management, Power & Water, Aviation, Healthcare, etc…). I also led the development, design, and build out of GE’s world class 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC).I was honored with the GE Opinion Survey award for Leadership in 2012- voted as one of the top 200 leaders across all of GE by my team members.

As the right-hand to our CISO, worked alongside the CIO & CISO to build the cybersecurity organization from the ground up, in response to nation-state APT threats. Developed a strategy and roadmap to enhance the holistic security posture for the organization. Managed the team tasked with the day-to-day operations of Incident Response, Forensics, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessments, Security Information & Event Monitoring (SIEM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Policy & Compliance (SOX, HIPAA). Represented Harris in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Cybersecurity program.
