As the People Systems and Learning Design Manager at Buckingham Fire & Rescue Service, my role was multifaceted and involved process optimization, developing and leveraging people systems, managing HR software, alongside a significant emphasis on web-related tasks. I am proud to state that my expertise in crafting bespoke e-learning solutions led to an award for "Most Innovative eLearning" within the Fire Service. My responsibilities encompassed the effective management of the Service's LMS and the generation of advanced operational firefighter training materials. I spearheaded the proposal, development, and launch of a web-based platform to implement the Authority's "People Strategy". This included the successful integration of the HR system and the design of an efficient recruitment system to address our extensive recruitment requirements.In collaboration with the National Fire Chief's Council, I was pivotal in launching and cultivating a national eLearning catalog. This initiative allowed for the nationwide sharing of training materials among all UK Fire & Rescue Services, proving invaluable for inter-service learning and coordination.
