Sean McKeown is a Technology Solutions Architect in Cisco’s Worldwide Cloud and Infrastructure Software sales team where he has a global role designing customer solutions for AI/ML, private/hybrid cloud, observability, big data, and traditional enterprise application architectures. Sean also works closely with Cisco's internal development and technical marketing teams and external partners to help Cisco design, tailor, and market its cloud and data center solutions for customers. As a Cisco Press author, Sean co-wrote the definitive guide to Intersight, Cisco’s intelligent cloud operations software-as-a-service platform. Sean joined Cisco from Oracle Corporation, where he was IT Director in their Global IT Service Operations group, managing technical operations teams supporting Oracle's data center and cloud infrastructure services. Sean has a M.S. in astrophysics from Northwestern University and a B.S. in physics and theology from Georgetown University. Sean lives in Manitou Springs, CO with his wife and two children, and enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, scuba diving, and amateur astronomy, and is proud to serve as Treasurer on the board of directors of Safe Passage Child Advocacy Center.
