Hey, I'm SeanI'm a pretty normal guy with a massive love of learning. I'm rarely without a book, video, podcast, audiobook etc to teach me something. Around 3 or 4 years ago, I went on a bit of a self-improvement kick and taught myself all sorts. Now I'm using the skills I've learned to further my professional career and enhancing my personal life. I'm still learning new things everyday. I'll never learn everything, and I try to surround myself with others that can teach me and help me be better.🚧 Warning - A bit of a cliché 🚧My dad once told me if I'm the smartest person in the room, I'm in the wrong room. He was right.If someone asked you what motivates you, what would you say? For me, it is achievement - seeing the end result of something. I like to look back at projects, goals, or even a hobby and say 'I did that'. I believe that hard work pays off. Do a good job and people will notice (I'll admit, though sometimes it takes longer than I'd like). I don't believe in 'that will do'. In 2018, I gained the title of FIDE Master. I don't play competitively anymore, but I always am keen for a game if you like?🏋️. Health & Fitness are very important to me, so I attend a number of different classes & groups, including, but not limited to, Self-Defence, Running and Rock Climbing.🎸 Music is a big part of my life. I've been playing Piano for over 20 years, and guitar for not much less. Currently I can play 14 instruments at a solid level, but always want to learn more. That's the keen learner in me. 🔫 I recently took up shooting at my local air rifle range. All target based shooting. This hobby came out of nowhere when some people realised I have a bit of a knack for it. I'm keen to see where it goes. For now though, it's just really good fun.⛰️ I've got a huge passion for hiking/camping. We all need a 'happy place' and the wilderness is mine. Nothing compares to standing on top of a mountain, surrounded by staggering views.
