Currently, as an Analyst for the Digital Marketing Operations team at Leo Burnett, I still work with some of the top marketers in the world, but from a different role within the agency, to develop, implement & monitor email programs within Adobe Campaign focused on customer engagement, conversion, and retention. I lead quality control procedures to ensure on-time and flawless execution of all campaigns, resulting in 100% success rate for on-time deliveries, and I advise on digital marketing strategy by analyzing and reporting email campaign results to clients, including open, click-through, and unsubscribe rates. Additionally, I serve as the subject matter expert to clients and cross-functional teams on technical and content-focused best practices for email campaigns.Previously, as an Analyst at Leo Burnett, I worked with some of the top marketers in the world to provide insights into Big Data, and the ways in which it is changing how the world does business. Big Data is the future of Marketing Analytics, and my tenure with the Analytics team has provided me a valuable opportunity to work on the cutting edge of this budding practice. Initially brought on to supported a forecasting research project intended to optimize the creative content involved in direct mail and email engagement campaigns, my responsibilities have since expanded to include a variety of functions across multiple accounts. Analyzing and reporting engagement campaigns, as well as assisting with weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports, allowed me to develop SQL programming skills within SAS. It also helped build a strong understanding of consumer product categories. My educational background in Communications and Anthropology provides me a unique and invaluable perspective with which to approach Marketing Analytics. Pulling from a broad understanding of human behavior, media technology, and Big Data, I am able to formulate hypotheses regarding the trends and dynamics observed in the data, and then recommend innovative solutions to improve future tracking and implementation methods.
