To grow the Peace Corps brand:I facilitated networking and information sessions, delivered class and club talks, built relationships with university department heads and attended career fairs to find the best individuals to live, learn, and work abroad for two years. Over the last two quarters, I spoke to more than 5,200 undergrad and graduate students through planning 85 class and club talks, 25 information sessions, 15 career fair booths, and 60 networking meetings with department heads, career counselors, student advisers, professors and student body leaders.I cultivated outstanding relationships with both short and long term applicants, inspiring and motivating those ready to apply for Peace Corps service, while creating an awareness and desire in long term applicants to apply for service once they're eligible years in the future. Candidate assessment — With cold and warm leads, I assessed and advocated for the most qualified candidates by conducting a behavioral interview to address their technical ability, emotional maturity, motivations for the position, and their cultural and social agility. I have recommend 130 of the most competitive applicants for Peace Corps service to hiring specialists.
