Leading the development and coordination of small hydropower projects. This includes all aspects of development. Cascade Hydro is a renewable energy company that develops small hydropower projects. Cascade collaborates with water agencies to develop small hydropower projects in existing infrastructure. These projects provide clean, affordable, reliable, local, power without negatively impacting the environment or water agency operations.

• Bloom’s go-to person for managing international market development. • Identified customer opportunity and engaged key Indian market stakeholders internally and externally.• Developed and led a market entry strategy for 250kW DG power systems.• Engaged US Sales team that resulted in the signing of a $25m contract with a large multinational.• Set up a country ranking model, prepared adhoc reports for senior management.• Evaluated incentive requirements and prepared high level government lobbying materials.• Managed a diverse team in US and India, and coordinated cross functionally.

Advised two large Chinese utilities and a Chinese investment bank on investing in the US renewable energy market. This included sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, performing due diligence and negotiating the commercial contracts with a US based developers.

Managed North and South American development. Led the team on the 109MW Shady Oaks project resulting in a power sales agreement and $250m. investment in the US. Currently in operation. Set up strategic agreements in Latin America- projects currently in construction in Chile.
