My professional career kicked off in retail grocery, where I developed a working knowledge of order writing, warehousing, inventory control, merchandising, people management and interpersonal relationship skills over an 11-year period of time. Following this time I transitioned into the fitness industry as a personal fitness trainer, putting to work my Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Movement Science; Physiology of Fitness and Health. After roughly 1.5 years as a trainer and soon after I married, I decided I needed a more consistent schedule in a "9-5" and began my transition into a corporate setting.That's when I started at TRX. It was here that I realized my passion for inventory control and management, and ultimately supply chain management. I found familiarity in these areas given my retail grocery background and the work itself came rather naturally to me. Over the course of 4 years, I was promoted from the Customer Operations Team, to the sales team as a Sales Operations Specialist, then back to the operations team as a Supply Chain and Inventory Planner. In year 5 I was promoted to Supply Chain Manager, a position I currently hold.My professional goal is to continue to contribute to my team at the highest level possible, always growing and staying current with industry trends. I have a true passion for my work and I am looking forward to what my professional future holds in store.
