Electronic Technologies is a family-based company that William Derward Myrick created to meet increasing demands from distributors to provide innovative technologies that have ranged from the oil field to the residential’s backyard. Specializing in meeting entrepreneurial goals, we strived to make original ideas a reality through technological breakthrough. Electronic Technologies through research and development, design and implement a process by which a product can be created, manufactured, and marketed as a consumer product. • In 2008 I began an apprenticeship under William Derward Myrick, an Electrical Engineer from Mississippi State University, U.S. Air Force Veteran, and former NASA contract engineer. Under his supervision through Electronic Technologies, I began to assist in the manufacture of water filtration devices for distribution through Intec America. The company utilized a filtration technique through copper ionization for residential and commercial swimming pools.• From 2008 to 2013 while under the apprenticeship, I was able to increase my knowledge and understanding of electrical theory, relevant formulas, electrical history and development, frequencies, magnetism, electrical safety, and schematic reading and designing. During this time, I was also instructed in the manufacturing of the copper filtration unit utilizing drills, saws, label application, circuit board etching, circuit board construction, circuit board soldering, wiring, and testing units for Quality Assurance.• In 2013 I became the owner of Electronic Technologies and maintained a vital role in hands-on manufacturing, employment oversight, and customer relations. I began to aid many distributors in the diagnosis and repair of various electronic units to help minimize the cost of warranty claims that came through from other companies; becoming an essential consultant to distributors on product functionality and cost.

As a Safelite Technician I was required to undergo a rigorous 3-month training course, exceed expectations, and pass all relevant examination to be considered a Certified Auto Glass Replacement & Repair Technician. As a mobile technician I was responsible for the care and maintenance of a company vehicle, company cell phone, electronic diagnostic equipment, and company-provided tools/equipment. Daily responsibilities included, filling PO’s with warehouse, stocking and inventorying vehicle, structuring daily routes and appointments with customers, customer satisfaction/feedback, and providing services in accordance with DOT and company safety guidelines.• In 2016, after successfully passing all company certifications I began working as a mobile technician servicing a variety of domestic and foreign vehicles. Quickly exceeded expectations of filling a minimum of 4 PO’s a day to completing 6 or more a day. At this point I was entrusted with more complicated installations such as door glass replacement, window regulator replacement, and warranty calls.• Throughout 2017 I began receiving training on more advanced windshield replacements for vehicles that came with sophisticated electronic systems built-in such as, lane assist technology, forward collision detectors, night-vision cameras, humidity sensors, rain sensors, and antennas. Furthermore, these advancements required knowledge and training in the use of static and/or dynamic recalibration of sensors. These recalibrations were performed through the use of computer driven software and proper technician parameters to ensure DOT and company safety compliance. • By 2018, I was promoted to work as an in-shop technician servicing customers that had more specific or specialized needs for their vehicle. Many of these vehicles required focus, patience, attention to detail, and advanced knowledge to complete.

SPS 3PL Services is a third-party warehousing and shipping operation for companies to store product overflow, staging for manufacturing, and local distribution. As the I.T. Director I was responsible for maintaining the local server-based workstations within the company’s day-to-day operations. Daily responsibilities included updating inventory databases on a “First In, First Out” basis for companies such as Folgers Coffee and Hill’s Pet Dog Food. As a Logistics Specialist I was responsible for taking daily, weekly, and random inventory counts for comparison and correction with company-based data systems. These same inventory checks also had to be compared and corrected with third-party server systems utilizing web-based portals through Hill’s Pet.• In 2014 I was hired on with the specific task of streamlining administration procedures, creating a user-friendly and efficient means of sharing data across the company’s local network, research and development, and project oversight and completion. Other tasks included compiling, formatting, and recording official company guidelines and procedures for future preservation and use.• In 2015 I began overseeing new projects in asset protection, utilizing security cameras within the warehouse and around the perimeter of the facility. Increased inter-warehouse communication through the use of Public Announcement communications and department-to-department telecommunications. Increased record keeping efficiencies for incoming inventory through use of programmable scanners and personalized database equations.• By 2016 I began taking on a vital role in facilitating the day-to-day logistical operations, helping to keep customer relations thriving, exceeding quality control expectations, and filling temporary vacancies as night-shift Supervisor for next-day orders and deliveries.

I managed and later became Director of the I.T. Department; providing oversight and hands-on help for technical projects and services. This included providing administrative support to both the Vice President of Operations and Director of Construction; including technical services, end of the month reporting, and research. Brought the company up to date in protecting vital information including physical and electronic records and archives, data sharing, and Virtual Private Networks for remote access.By 2013 I began taking on a crucial technical role in organizing and leading Fleet Management procedures throughout the company. This included implementing monthly vehicle inspections that were maintained within a program that I designed and coded specifically for the companies record keeping needs. Many of these records were to include routine maintenance schedules, State DOT inspections, DOT mandated drivers log, and DOT specific safety and regulations. Oversight in the installation of OPW Onsite Gasoline and Diesel Dispensaries. Managed the OPW K-800/Phoenix Onsite Fuel Dispensary Control Interfaces and software. Including the oversight of employee fuel cards and monthly reporting.Installed Verizon Network Fleet GPS devices on fleet vehicles for greater accountability, greater time efficiency, and to reduce State violations through the management and configuration of Verizon Web-based software. Continued to work on technical projects to equip and network new offices throughout the state of Louisiana and Texas (maintaining support for offices throughout Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Alabama). Helped to minimize asset lose and other malicious activity by designing and implementing door/gate security with card and key access; including management of DoorKing Software Interfaces and monthly reporting. Implemented indoor/outdoor security cameras for Gulf State Offices with Internet and Smart Phone remote access.
