Assist with the project management and coordination of the full range of subcontractor's on-site construction of an 125,000+SF, community civic center in southwest Chicago for The Salvation Army and International Facilities Group. The Center is designed by Antunovich Associates with a precast concrete and steel structure enclosing office space, classrooms, kitchen, chapel, two indoor swimming pools, and gymnasium with running track. Project also will develop over 30 acres of urban retrofit/undeveloped land into multiple athletic facilities and parking areas. Focus on community and minority business partners and employees.

I spent nearly 2 years (Jan 2008 - Oct 2009) in the Operations division performing construction management services on the 155 North Wacker Drive project which is a 46-story, 1.4 million square foot, Class A high rise commercial office building in downtown Chicago. I assisted in the management of the structural trade subcontractors as well as the sitework and punchlist completion. I oversaw the closeout proceedings of the project and managed to complete closeout of the project within 120 days of substantial completion. The 155 North Wacker Drive project was pre-certified LEED Silver and was on track for a LEED Gold certification rating at the project's construction end. The 155 North Wacker Drive project was also voted as the Project of the Year - Ofice by Midwest Construction.At the same time as we were wrapping up the 155 North Wacker project, I was developing subcontractor bid packages for the Randolph Pocket Park adjacent to the 155 North Wacker job. The Randolph Pocket Park is a 9,300 SF City of Chicago park that will involve MBE/WBE participation. I worked as a project engineer in the Technical Services (Preconstruction) division (Jan 2007- Jan 2008) on a number of different projects and project types from K-12 education to high-rise office and residential.

Spent multiple summer and winter vacations as intern, including a Co-Op internship from May 2005 through January 2006 serving in many different roles from lump-sum bidding projects to managing small subcontractors.(May-August 2004, December 2004, May 2005-January 2006, and May-August 2006)• Processed submittals, pricing and RFI’s for Bryan Cave, LLC Office Buildout Project and Old Orchard Towers Lobby Renovation Project.• Compiled pricing and meeting minutes on Phase III of William Wrigley Jr. Company Conference Center Project• Gathered subcontractor pricing and compiled budget for Harley Davidson pre-construction• Managed the remodeling of Bank of America office space in Oakbrook Terrace.
