Stewards the vision, strategy, and guardrails for the ministry to middle and high school students for maximum impact in light of Mountain’s mission to make more and better disciples.Serves on the Area Leader Huddle that includes departmental leaders and campus pastors.Supervises a Ministry Support Staff Team of 4 to support campuses through content, codes, consistency, communication, consultation, coaching, and coverage.Coaches and consults with 7 Campus Team Members across 4 campuses including indirect supervision with Students Pastors at each campus.Overhauled the vision and strategy of the ministry to center around small groups which was implemented during the COVID pandemic that propelled Mountain Students to 371 students and leaders in groups in 2023. This was a 23% growth compared to 2019.Expanded Students Summer Camps attendance to 469 students and leaders in 2024. This was a 36% growth compared to 2019.Co-directed a Fall Retreat event including planning, execution, and evaluation with over 500 students and leaders from 9 total churches at 2 different venues.Initiated the development of a content engine for Students Groups that creates video messages and other supporting resources for groups prioritizing biblical content and diversity that 2 other churches used. This includes leading the communicators and communicating a quarter of the time.Directs a six-figure ministry budget with over $300,000 in expenses and $200,000 in income.Implemented an online training platform to better onboard volunteers across all ministry areas including training and onboarding staff to use it. This also included coordinating with Leadership to create content for all leaders at the church to experience.Oversees the Young Adults Pastor and helped re-launch ministry to young adults with a new strategy leading to a revamped monthly large-group experience, several new home groups, and a new yearly retreat with significant growth year-over-year.

Oversaw ministry to middle and high school students at the broadcast campus of 2700 people that included weekly large group gatherings, weekly small groups in homes, and occasional trips and events.Increased average attendance of students and leaders from 80 to 160 in the large group environment. Supervised a staff team of 2 with over 30 group leaders and 10 additional volunteers in our span of care. Developed a semi-automated first-time guest follow-up process that all campuses currently use.Instituted a venue shift from the secondary building to the primary auditorium on campus.

Oversaw middle school ministries at broadcast and original campus.Supported middle school ministry at an additional location.Responsible for volunteer recruitment, leadership development, volunteer care, preaching/teaching, programming development, event management, communication, social media, and more.

Exposed to experiences and leadership opportunities in multiple ministry areas including First Impressions, Groups, Students, Sports, and Kids at campuses of different scales.Led team to create weekend-long recruiting experiences to interview candidates of the Leadership Institute by building out personalized agendas, giving a first-class experience, and securing feedback.Initiated and led a new social media strategy for Campus Facebook Pages that resulted in increased engagement through a team of residents.

Split time between their central office and their Whitley County Team. With the Whitley County team, I focused on connecting with students from Indian Springs and Whitko Middle Schools through relational ministry actions, and I went to summer camp with them. With the central office team, I helped coordinate and execute the golf outings with the various areas involved in the chapter.

Led small group of middle school boys for two years that included communicating with parents and developing content for lessons each week. I also developed the small group leader training curriculum based off of Orange principles. In addition, another intern and I planned and executed the Sunday morning program (125 MS students) along with other special events to attract new students including Summer Camp and CIY Believe. For the Sunday morning program, I was a member of the teaching team. Lastly, I oversaw all communications involving updating the website, sending out SMS messages, and posting on the Instagram account.

Directed student ministry while Student Pastor took control of adult ministry for the summer. This consisted of overseeing Sunday morning service by teaching through a part of The Story along with organizing and executing other midweek summer events. I also was able to participate in setting the calendar for the next school year.

Worked with the Passport to Ministry to process and approve foreign mission trip liability insurance applications.

Worked with the Research and Development Department to work on a major project to data-mine previous insurance claims to search for patterns to help adjust rates through an Excel spreadsheet.
