I worked on contract with John Deere to support their ISG Data Platform teams. My role contained projects for sustaining and scaling the many components that allow critical data related to harvest, planting, and other operations to be fed into Operations Center. Our team eventually matured into a Site Reliability Engineering team where we were tasked to work along side developers and implement observation and additional monitoring tooling to our AWS workflows.
