Sean provides consulting services to private sector businesses and programs within the Department of Defense through his LLC. He has helped develop access control procedures around SAP Security, GRC, ServiceNow, and other applications, presented these procedures to auditors and ensured all requested items were provided in a timely manner. The test controls Sean has been part of have never received an audit finding around timeliness of submission for items.Sean's combination of technical, audit, and management experience allows him to create, implement, and maintain requirements to ensure they meet the audit standards of publications such as NIST 800-53 and FISCAM. Sean has the ability to work with key stakeholders from different organizations with different priorities to push positive change forward.

Sean worked with the United States Army on audit readiness and application security. He uses his knowledge of SAP security, FISCAM, and NIST 800-53 to develop, implement, and improve processes for user access controls. Sean also coordinates with internal and external auditors coordinating meetings with key stakeholders and providing system information and documentation for review. Sean developed key performance indicators for onboarding new organizations into PEO-EIS applications related to training and access with well-documented reports. Sean was able to ensure over 99% of users were fully trained and provisioned prior to their go-live date through regular communications and briefings displaying these detailed metrics.Sean managed the upgrade of GRC from 5.3 to 10.1 and 10.1 to 12, providing system requirements as well as specific implementation instructions to the system integrator team.

Sean served as the head gymnastics coach at Old City Crossfit. He led classes of 1-20 people through powerlifting, weightlifting, mono-structural, and gymnastics movements through explanation, demonstration and correction of movements. He also created Old City Crossfit's Gymnastics program, which progresses members toward their movement goal through personalized programming and training. His emphasis on safety has been written about in Box Pro Magazine.

Sean worked on the Basis Security team on a Navy financial system. Sean analyzed and managed a database with approximately 100,000 user accounts to perform monthly maintenance and ensure proper usage of a Navy financial system. Sean also verified and provisioned over 100 different user’s access daily on the SAP system. When user access require new processes, Sean helped to develop and document procedures.

Sean provided technical support for American University Career Center's staff members and over 58 workstations. During implementations of new software or upgrades such as SharePoint, Sean played a vital role in assisting staff members with the new technology and understanding the benefits of it. Sean also contributed to maintaining accurate employer, contact, and job data for the Career Center's strategic career management system, AUCareerWeb

Anderson Hall

Sean led a floor of approximately 60 first-year students in developing a community in the residence halls through weekly programming activities. Any incident that Sean witnessed in the residence halls was documented and reported to the proper supervisors. Sean explained and enforced residence hall policies to about 800 students while ensuring only those students or guests allowed in Anderson Hall were permitted to enter through the checking of student identification cards.

Sean developed and maintained the webpages for Housing & Dining Programs through the use of CommonSpot Web Content Management System and Adobe Dreamweaver. Sean also assisted in formatting newsletters sent out by the Executive Director to all campus residents. Sean conducted interviews for Resident Assistants and other Part-Time Housing & Dining positions.

Sean created instructional documents on web applications that were sent to Reserve Corps Members, Clients and Interns. Sean helped test and develop applications used by the department's 4500+ employees and District of Columbia residents to ensure they met all requirements and functioned properly.
