    For nearly ten years, I was the multimedia producer and program associate for the Woodrow Wilson Center's Environmental Change and Security Program. I specialized in producing award-winning films and compelling personal stories centered on the complex intersection of people and our planet. 'Broken Landscape', a film I co-produced in 2014, premiered at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in 2015 and earned several awards, including a Silver Telly. An extended cut of the film aired on India's cable network CNN-IBN, which averages 45 million viewers a day. Another film, 'Scaling the Mountain: Protecting Forests for Families in Nepal', premiered at the 2014 Environmental Film Festival in the Nation's Capital. The short documentary I produced, 'Healthy People, Healthy Environment: Integrated Development in Tanzania,' was the recipient of a 2012 Silver Telly Award. I was a contributor to the award-winning blog, New Security Beat, where many of my multimedia products are showcased.In addition to my multimedia work, I managed the program's financial tracking and reporting for our five-year, federal grant from USAID's Office of Population and Reproductive Health. I was the lead on our team for creating and implementing the internal financial and administrative systems used to track our progress.I regularly represented the Environmental Change and Security Program and Woodrow Wilson Center at external conferences, meetings, film screenings, and have been featured as a speaker or panelist discussing the linkages between conservation, health, and family planning. In these discussions, I am interested in making the connections between these issues clearer by using the power of storytelling.
