Coordinated with the Office of Secretary of Defense, Congress, Joint Staff, DASN Ships and NAVSEA to ensure 100 percent compliance was achieved throughout the JCIDS process.• Instrumental in bringing the next generation amphibious assault ship, LHA(R) Flight 1, through the Navy’s acquisition gate 3 process achieving Navy and Marine Corps consensus on cost and capabilities of the vital component of the naval expeditionary forces. • Coordinated with Secretary of Defense Staff to ensure the Navy received OSD AT&L approval for an Amphibious Ship Replacement Material Development and Acquisition Decision Memorandum and permission to conduct an Analysis of Alternatives (AOA) study for the LX(R).
