As Aircraft Dispatch Supervisor, I assume joint operational control with the pilot for all flights under our control. I'm responsible for all aspects of the company's Flight Planning Dept. This includes route planning, dispatch release of aircraft, and final briefing to pilots to include weather, relevant airport updates, NOTAMS, etc. More Specifically:- Installed Dispatch department from the ground up.- Conducted operations under Part 135, as well as Part 91 for the company owners, the owners of the Minnesota Vikings.- Prepare flight plans and file with ATC approximately 5 flights per day for a total of approximately 20 pilots.- Perform flight feasibility, scheduling, and crewing.- Prepared and distributed pre-flight briefing including all relevant NOTAMS, weather information, TAFs, METARS, etc.- Manage vendor relationships and related cost analysis.- Perform dispatch duties for a fleet of 7 Falcon jets using Avianis, CAMP, Wyvern, and perfecting custom weight & balance envelopes based upon unique configurations, precise/actual fuel burns/performance per aircraft, as well as runway analysis in Foreflight, APG, and Efb Pro flight planning software.- Coordinate international flight planning as needed, including permits, ground handling, customs, parking, and slots if required.
