Responsible for auditing patient billing and charting, ensuring CMS compliance while maximizing Hospital Reimbursable Dollar amounts.As a Nurse Reviewer, responsible for ensuring accurate billing for Salt Lake Regional Medical center utilizing both hospital protocols and CMS guidelines. Duties included reviewing charting against final billing, finding errors, and reporting these errors to each individual department lead prior to final billing deadlines. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, providing weekly and monthly spreadsheet reports showing billable / non-billable items and amounts, as well as total + / - revenue recovered for the hospital. Monthly narrative reports provided indicating trends, areas of concern, and areas that have improved to the CFO and department leaders.
