The short time I have worked at MSP9 has been very fulfilling. Everyday brings a different scenario, but I feel confident enough in my ability, my leaders, and my team to focus on solutions and get things done. I have learned as many positions as I can so far, and can now help others learn as well. Being a "go-to" employee and confident in my abilities has really inspired me to get further involved in the company. Right now I am trained really well in 8 separate positions, and have done almost all of them in one shift. Sometimes, when I need to, I can recruit a team, delegate a task, and work along side them as equals to get the job done with the support and backing of both Process Assistants (Supervisors) and AMs (Area Managers). No other job has allowed me such autonomy. Again, MSP9 has been very fulfilling and I look forward to seeing how we grow together.

As a Stay at Home Dad a lot of duties fell under my purview. I was not only in charge of the cleanliness of the house, but I also maintained finances, early childhood education, and scheduling. No I wasn't on a payroll, however, I list this as a job as I was responsible for a lot that required skills employees look for. Understanding the ebb and flow of a small family was similar to duties I've seen people in management and below hold just at a smaller scale.

In as little as 6months I was promoted to supervisor. During that brief period in that role I learned a lot about training and leadership. I loved it here. This job will always hold a special place in my heart! I met so many wonderful people and helped so many amazing students learn hospitality! Here I learned Maestro and Opera programs pretty thoroughly. After the first couple years I started cross-training. I learned a lot about event organizing and management. Restaurant serving, operations, and networking. I made some wonderful friendships and grew as a person. My favorite part was meeting people from all over the world. Not just the guests, but the students as well. I learned so much about diplomacy, problem solving, and thinking under pressure. Sometimes the workload was heavy, and the hours were long, but it felt like a second home to me because I felt like I was part of an excellent team. I left because I moved to another state and started a family.

Formerly called Ruffalo Cody, this job helped me become easier at talking to strangers. My main duties were to cold call alumni of various schools to raise money for the school through scholarships and events. After a few months of doing well, I was promoted to lead caller and trainer. Helping others learn the craft and remain at ease with script reading and cold calling. Teaching techniques on listening and conversations. I learned a decent amount here as well.
