In this role I performed budgeting, forecasting, and analysis that supports major corporate decisions of the CFO, CEO, and the Board of Directors. I considered economic and business trends, reviewed past company performance, and attempt to anticipate obstacles and potential problems, all with an eye toward forecasting a company’s future financial results. On the team, we produced monthly reports, vendor/expense analytics, variance analysis, and budget reports.

Building upon my prior summer in this role, I took upon a leadership role, collaborating with senior executives and vice presidents to aid in compiling end of internship Client Advisor presentations with fellow interns. I constructed a complete 401(k)/IRA roadmap linked to current income brackets. I also worked on a project for a new office location, with one of our recommendations being realized, with a new Whittier Trust office in Menlo Park. I also was involved in trust services and financial planning, as mentioned in the previous Whittier Trust role.
