Sean was able to juggle these competing requirements while deftly navigating a sometimes-contentious community. No matter the situation, Sean was unflappable and proved comfortable making decisions, comfortable presenting up through board-level audiences for approval, and he took responsibility for his and his team’s actions. Finally, he is a pleasure to work with. He is knowledgeable about his field and craft, he is professional even when those around him are not, he maintains a subtle sense of humor in the face of trying situations, and he is ridiculously well read.
