My name is Sean Saavedra, a highly driven, creative, and gregarious professional with a foundation in Communication Studies and Fine Arts, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Loyola Marymount University in 2019. My journey into the everchanging world of social media and public relations began with a specialized PR firm located in Los Angeles called Dunn Pellier Media which focused on health and wellness, where I had thrived for five years. I parted ways with DPM in January of 2024 to open up my own social media consulting business called SASIE Creative, which I am currently nurturing. During my time with DPM, I had the privilege of wearing many hats, ranging from a Social Media Manager, Event/Brand Activation Planner, and Publicist Coordinator where I developed the skills to create engaging content/experiences, pitch/copywriting, and basic graphic design. My role as a Social Media Manager in particular equipped me with effective skills and strategies to elevate brand presence which confidently allowed me to start my own social media business. I have learned the game of digital marketing and influencer partnerships, and have stayed current with the latest policies. During my 5 years with DPM, I had fostered crucial relationships with many influencers, media outlets, and brands that I continue to nurture today. Additionally, I have dabbled in the art of storytelling as a Video Content Creator/Editor for DPM, brands, and in my personal life.My commitment and creativity have been recognized through four distinguished awards. The Bulldog PR Award celebrated my excellence in "Best Use of Influencers," earning me a prestigious Silver. Equally thrilling was the honor from the Telly Awards, acknowledging my work in "Food & Beverage Series - Social Video," where I secured another Silver. PR Daily's Digital Marketing & Social Media Award crowned my efforts in Event Promotion earning me first place in my category. And last, the PR News Awards honored me with another first place in "Live Video" for the "Sunlighten Sauna Virtual Media Event" adding to my growing list of accolades.
