Intersex Justice Project (IJP) is dedicated to challenging medically unnecessary surgeries on intersex youth and young adults. IJP is a project driven by intersex people of color.

Equality, diversity and intersex policy making - A comparison of the Republic of Ireland and England (based at the University of Huddersfield). This project aims to generate knowledge about social policy making in the area of intersex, specifically policy making in the areas of equality and diversity, using the Republic of Ireland and England as case studies. It will address the large deficit in social policy analysis about intersex, from a cross-sectoral position.

As Evaluator of PAD, I have:1. Conducted qualitative interviews with community stakeholders and program participants.2. Co-written reports documenting the progress of the program.3. Provided intersex competency trainings with the Atlanta Police Department as well as social service providers.

As an Interviewer with the NHBS Trans Survey, I:1. Interviewed Black and Latinx transgender women about their risks for HIV.2. Performed outreach to transgender women and transfeminine individuals in the metro Atlanta area. 3. Participated in team meetings to strategize about outreach and recruitment.

Along with my team members, we delivered a report to the Open Society Foundation Public Health program documenting intersex activism in the Global South.

As a Research Analyst, I:1. Assessed the efficiency of value-based approaches to health care as it relates to Medicare and the Affordable Care Act.2. Submitted monthly reports related to healthcare topics.3. Conducted qualitative and quantitative research in accordance with project goals.

As Board Co-Chair, I am helping to lead an organization that is committed to fighting for the dignity of intersex children through legal means.

San Francisco Bay Area

In coordination with the research team, I conducted sixty in-depth qualitative interviews with bisexually active African American men. I handled over $2400 in cash advances for the project and coordinated spending with the Office Manager. I also participated in weekly team meetings, data analysis meetings and other project related activities.

I encouraged the growth of Zipcar memberships in the San Francisco Bay Area by disseminating information about Zipcar and enrolling members into Zipcar. I also provided excellent customer service in order to cultivate continued interest in Zipcar.
