Love working with and through people with the same commitment, drive and values.I am a senior sport system executive and strategic leader with over 25 years of experience working with a mix of athletes, teams, universities, national organizations and sports systems to achieve success from play ground to the podium.As a transformational leader in the space of building effective sports systems I have developed expertise in Change Management, Strategic Planning, Business Process Re-Engineering, Leadership Development & Coaching, Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Management and Evidence-Based Performance Solutions.My achievements include, working at a sport system level for both the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and Own the Podium (OTP) in Canada I was responsible for the development and implementation of strategic planning frameworks, stakeholder management (Government & Sport), annual budgets for grants programs and operations, public policy and programs/services designed to improve the overall sports systems in both countries. I am passionate about the human aspect of change management, based on the concepts of how holistic development fosters better people who create better environments. The high-stakes strategic relationship building is an area in which I excel. Partnering with governments (local/provincial/national), sporting organizations and universities on programs and services are an enormous part of my work and I have taken great care in building those skillsets and networks.My tendency to reject the status quo and identify opportunities for strategic partnerships that enhance both organizational and system level performance. I sincerely enjoy instituting evidence-based strategies into antiquated decision-making models and seeing the impact that can bring on any individual, organization and system.
