Managing cows and many acres of property taught me many life skills. How to be ahead of things before they happen is the best thing I have taken away from this job. I also learned how to run and operate heavy machinery such as multiple tractors and bulldozers.

This is my second year as an Islander baseball player. There are many skills that I gain everyday balancing school and baseball. Time management is key every single day in between classes, practice, and homework. Baseball has given my many tools like leadership, teamwork, communicational, motivational and many more. These skills are unforgettable.

I took away a lot of experience away from this job. Learned the proper way to create schedules and manage people. I had to make schedules around 16 employees lives. I gained many new people skills such as communication, patience, and motivation.
