CurrentHaving gone through the Plug and Play program while at PebblePost, I am now thrilled to be a mentor in both the Retail and Media & Ads verticals. I enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge but more-so, I love to learn from the creative founders of emerging companies. Gm / Svp
I worked closely with our President to turn the business around and prepare it for sale at a premium to its previous sale price, which we achieved in 12 months. Within my business units we created focus around one product, which differentiated us from the competition and positioned us as a transformative leader in the space. We did this while maintaining y/y revenue. In August 2019 we sold the business to Syndigo. This will give the SellPoints product a home to thrive in for years to come.During my tenure, I managed all teams excluding Product and Engineering. The teams included Retailer Development, Brand Development, Customer Success, Project Management, and Business Development. My responsibilities included reshaping the core business for growth under the new ConversionPoint Technologies strategy as we evolved the SellPoints business from the legacy syndication business to an ecommerce optimization platform. The focus was on creating content for brands on retailer sites that drives incremental value for both brand and retailer. We were focused on the convergence of content and media to gather data to help brands deliver more sales for themselves and the retailers. We were positioned to be a leader in this space as we had unique and actionable data sets to help both brand and retailer succeed. This was ultimately why Syndigo acquired SellPoints.
Vp Sales
While VP of Sales in the San Francisco office, I was responsible for managing all the revenue generating teams. I was the first SF employee in August of 2016 and began staffing up in January of 2017. In the end, I managed 20 people across three teams (Enterprise Sales, Mid-Market Sales, and Account Strategy) and ran the SF office. This team took PebblePost from zero revenue in 2017 to a $20 MM run rate in June of 2018, just on the west coast. I am proud of each of my hires and I enjoyed mentoring each of them daily. The tight relationships have led to an extraordinary culture that is bound by the individuals. Being an integral part of the Series B and C fund raises was an incredible experience and I am confident that PebblePost will go on to be uber successful.
Vp West Sales
As the VP of Sales at Criteo I manage our prospecting and client relationships west of the Mississippi River. My team is focused on retail and travel centric businesses where we believe the Criteo technology can help them drive more sales or bookings. Since being promoted into this role, our region has doubled its business year over year. In the last few years we have expanded our services to include mobile web, mobile app, email, and search. I view Criteo as a true big data company where we are able to collect, analyze, make decisions, and act upon client data in real-time to drive real business results. In this role I manage 6 sellers with dotted lines from our Account Strategy team. Early in my VP tenure, I also managed the Account Strategy team directly. Eventually this team grew too large to be managed under sales and I brought in a leader to manage that team as we partnered on our efforts to grow the business post IPO.
Director Of Sales
In this role I led initial sales efforts into the U.S. market. Criteo originally launched out of Paris in 2005. In late 2009 our CEO moved to Palo Alto to launch our U.S. efforts and ultimate global expansion. My initial task was to evangelize our brand and business to the ad agency community in support of our direct sales efforts. Soon after, I moved into a direct sales role managing targets from Chicago to San Francisco. As this region progressed I put a focus on Texas where we doubled the U.S. business under my leadership before being promoted to VP in 2012.
Contractor/Director Of Northwest Sales
At TMP I was responsible for introducing our products to our clients and educating them on the benefits of working with TMP. Independant Contractor
After several years in digital advertising working on the agency and publisher side in a variety of roles, I relocated back to Northern California. This move gave me the opportunity to work for myself and leverage the knowledge I had gained working for some amazing companies.I first partnered in an investment firm (Strategic Investment Group) where I was able to leverage my sales and marketing experience and expand my skills into social media. 2005 was the early years for social media as we know it today but through my role I was able to bring investors together and collaborate on investment opportunities. In 2008 while still a partner at SIG I consulted with a digital ad agency (Questus). My role was to help streamline the sales and on-boarding process across the sales team and throughout the agency respectfully. This role gave me the opportunity to expand on my social media experience by introducing a CRM solution to the agency and leverge the power of internal collaboration to gain and grow business.Once my goals were accomplished at Questus, but while still a partner at SIG, I signed on for a role with a start up (PredictWallStreet). PWS was looking to build a media company on top of the data company they had already built. The most interesting part about this company and position was how we were going to leverage the power of social media to generate data that would be converted into stock trading portfolios. Unfortunately the execution wasn't successful but perhaps it was just before its time.
