Implementation and deployment of Microsoft Power Platform tools for client and internal firm solutions. Power BI has been an essential tool deployed on numerous occasions to meet the needs of the General Counsel, Project Managers, and Executives. All of these instances necessitated gathering client requirements, cleaning and manipulating data, and providing key metrics for ease of use while taking into account the client's familiarity with the Power BI. Internal use cases for Power Apps and Power Automate provided a Proof of Concept for a Knowledge Management Platform and in the case of Power Automate gathering membership data on a firm connectivity Microsoft Teams App for reporting to firm leadership via Power BI. Creating connections and furthering professional development infrastructure within my business group and practice have seen technical and leadership skills utilized for clients applied toward firm needs. After exposure to and use of a 'coffee chat' application, while working for the TES practice, I sought to implement a Microsoft Teams-based App for firmwide deployment. With much personal persistence and leadership of a business group leader, the coffee chats app was deployed firmwide connecting firm members across the globe within a rapidly growing consulting firm.

Economics & Disputes: Data Analyst / Business Intelligence AnalystUtilized my legal background to aid in data gathering for an economic valuation related to exposure to litigation and potential financial costs. Lead a team lunch & learn introducing Microsoft’s Power Platform and specific use cases for using Power BI to further serve our client’s needs. This required gathering stakeholders' current needs and uses to buildout relevant dashboards. I also have built dashboards used by Executive leadership for practice-wide analysis and monitoring of financial KPIs and employee utilization rates. To further effective project management, I developed and deployed SharePoint Lists with Power Automate Flows to produce daily, weekly, and reoccurring task reminders.Added legal insight and guidance as to relevant data for assessing litigation propensity and historic liability. I developed a new practice based business intelligence dashboard utilizing Power BI and Power Automate. Continued serving on the Consultant Engagement Council as well as the Ankura in the Community Committee. I have partnered with another colleague to further develop service offerings within the Trust & Mass Torts practice.To further my exposure and continued learning of Power BI I joined a local professional group focused on Power BI and its effective utilization. I have continued learning within Microsoft’s Power Platform with a special emphasis on DAX, SQL, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate and Power Apps. I have also utilized Python, JSON, and HTML where needed.

TES (Technology Enabled Services): Business Intelligence AnalystProvided direct reporting and communication with clients regarding discovery documentation exchange and storage. Lead and developed internal and practice wide business intelligence dashboards.Given the opportunity to learn new programs comprising Microsoft’s Power Platform, I accepted the challenge and aided then lead the creation of a Practice Business Intelligence dashboard used by project managers and executives. Aided in the management and distribution of Accounts Receivable for a project with more than twenty clients requiring distinct billing specifications. I was also nominated and selected to be on a representative body for Associates and Senior Associates within the firm called the Consultant Engagement Council.Prior to this position my extent of data analysis was limited to Excel, Access and SPSS. Upon moving into the Data Analytics position I now hold, my knowledge base had grown to Power BI, DAX, and SQL. I also had the opportunity to attend Microsoft’s Business Application Summit, created Power Automate Flows, and Power Apps to enhance the team’s business intelligence capabilities.

Trust Claims Administration: Claims Administrator / Document ResearcherReviewing Trust documents and leading on-site reviews necessitated being detail oriented, self-motivated, organized, methodical, and leadership when the job it-self is mentally and physically demanding.Given the opportunity to lead and effectuate the consolidation of a client’s documents from sites across the country, I sought and succeeded to produce an indexed and physical mapped document storage facility. The consolidation required distillation of the client’s document retention policy into a concise Excel file to insure adherence and constant communication with storage and shipping vendors as well as colleges during on-site reviews. We saved the client future expenses of travel and research due to its legal obligations to make certain documents available to claimants.Our clients’ data was stored in Access, Excel, and physical documents requiring me to further develop my skills in each. For Access I learned how to perform data analysis within the program along with Excel with the additional skill set of functions for data manipulation and best practices. Physical documents required research in OCR technology.
