In 2002, barbox merged with it's competitor, PubServe, and became a limited company.In this new role. I was responsible for the on-going development of the platform, covering online ordering experience, back end supplier integration, as well as added value applications.I was also responsible for the overall performance and availability of the platform.

barbox was a business unit within Bass Brewers, initially set up to provide online ordering solutions to Bass Brewers' customers. However, due to the success of this, barbox soon moved into the space of providing B2B solutions to the Hospitality marketplace across multiple suppliers. I was a project leader, initially responsible for providing a hosted platform for the initial web application, and then moving into the management of 'added value' developments such as Gross Profit Calculator and Quiz Master.

Commence at Bass Brewers as a programmer, but as the business moved away from in house development and to off the shelf solutions, moved into business analysis and project management roles in both process control and management information systems, and then to ERP systems.Spent the final three years as Project Office Manager, ensuring that IT and business change projects were delivered through in-house project methodology standards and responsible for co-ordinating high level milestone plans to the senior leadership team.

Programming in Ladder Logic for a range of programmable logic controllers in the nuclear and process control industries; Fortran for Dex Vax based solutions, and C.Subsequently moved into configuration of SCADA based management systems sitting above the process control layer.
