Chief Strategy OfficerUnoya Sdn Bhd Mar 2019 - PresentUnoya Sdn Bhd is an Edutech startup based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We build a knowledge-sharing platform called RECQA (RECorded Question and Answer). RECQA is a digital learning platform that helps large groups of people, like schools or companies, create their own personalized learning space. With RECQA, people can connect with each other, access personalized information and learning materials, and share their expertise within the community. We designed RECQA to be easily manageable and our use case has shown that they are able to manage 10,000 schools and 6M users with only 3 Admins.We initially developed RECQA in collaboration with Google Malaysia for the Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE) as the base platform for the national digital learning platform. Happy with our team and platform, MOE recommended RECQA to UNICEF Malaysia as the digital learning platform to serve children in marginalized communities. Using our experience and learnings from building a digital learning and communication platform on a national scale, we further developed, enhanced, and productized RECQA for other learning communities. One of the cool things about RECQA is that it can be customized by community leaders to fit their specific needs. Also, RECQA is fully integrated with Google Workspace, which means that any learnings shared on the platform can be easily exported into a user's Google Classroom account. For example, if there's a global community with lots of different sub-communities with millions of users, RECQA can help everyone stay connected and up-to-date with the latest information and learnings. Using a single site, each user will see information based on their profile, so it's personalized for them. Ultimately, RECQA helps leaders manage their communities more effectively and makes learning and communication easier for everyone involved.
