Bachelor's in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in electrical/lighting design. I have 10+ years experience in AutoCAD and proficient knowledge of Revit, 3D max, and AGI32. My passion is in the AV industry and creating easy to read installation design plans using AutoCAD or Revit.My past experience consists of jobs in the architectural, electrical, and AV industry. In 2013, I was a student worker at the University of Nebraska at Omaha Facilities Management and Planning office where I learned the basics of starting and finishing projects and gained knowledge from senior engineers and architects. Once I had my feet wet, I accepted a job at USSTRATCOM as an electrical engineering intern where I engaged in more difficult projects which included upgrading electrical hardware and creating a conceptual Revit model of the USSTRATCOM facility to assist furniture inventory. After two years at USSTRATCOM, I landed a job at Schnackel Engineers as an Electrical Designer. At Schnackel, I corresponded with architects, contractors, landlords, and city officials to create a seamless electrical design. Most of the projects I worked on were rollout projects in the retail and commercial sector. The position fizzled out and I accepted a position as a CAD draftsman working on the USSTRATCOM B1000 project. Here I gained more experience with AutoCAD, large scale project processes, a multitude of IT facility design including data centers, infrastructure, AV, networks, etc. After two years of hard work on the project, I grew into an AV project engineer role where I picked up additional responsibilities such as QA/QC, designing, programming, and installing AV systems.
