Senior Systems Engineer & Architecht with 20+ Years of experience in consulting, managed services, and professional services.Primarily I am a Senior Systems Engineer working with Windows and Linux systems but have also grown into the dual role of being a Network Engineer. Being a leading member of a small but tight team of engineers I have had to be at the forefront of a wide variety of projects in a considerable variety of roles. Often relied upon to design, quote, coordinate, implement and maintain a variety of solutions for my customers. I wear a lot of hats, thus am no stranger to occasionally taking on the roles of sales, management, trainer, leader, purchasing agent, product developer, and vendor negotiations.I spend roughly 70% of my time working directly with customers on day to day project implementation and the rest of the time coaching and assisting team members, and working on process improvement. My clients over the years have run the gamut of industries from finance to legal to manufacturing at the small, medium, and occasionally enterprise level. I am passingly familiar with too many aspects of systems administration to list but my strengths are in Windows Servers, Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, and VMWare. I have in the last few years become very proficient at PowerShell and enjoy scripting and automating always with the goal of working smarter and not harder. Most recently I have joined our Breach Remediation team doing Ransomware recoveries and have had to acclimate very quickly to the ever challenging world of Security incident response, remediation, containment, and hardening. The hours are long and the work is hard but the constant challenges and leaning fuel me.I am no stranger to long hours, weekend work, and midnight emergency support calls. I do not buckle under the pressure of critical system outages, nor do I push responsibilities or difficult issues onto others. The challenges of problem solving, designing/engineering, and the constant influx of new technology is what I enjoy most about my profession.I am capable of working independently but prefer the company of a good team. I can be a passionate customer advocate at times and believe firmly that the role of a consultant is first and foremost giving sound honest advice to my customers. Earning the trust and confidence of my customers through honesty and competence is my number one priority in the area of customer relations.
