As the Non-Executive Chairman of WRUK Ltd and a Board Member of Gas Networks Ireland, I have played a pivotal role in guiding organisations toward operational excellence and sustainable practices.My tenure includes serving as Chairman of Newry Credit Union, Northern Ireland Water Ltd, and the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI), among others. At Newry Credit Union, I ensured robust governance under FCA regulations, while at Northern Ireland Water Ltd, I spearheaded critical transformations, enhancing the company’s reputation and stakeholder relationships.In my role with WRUK Ltd, I focus on building relationships with UK water utility companies and developing regulatory approval schemes. At AFBI, I established governance structures, recruited a new management team, and commercialised research capabilities, significantly boosting non-grant income.My expertise also extends to audit and risk management, having chaired committees at Warrenpoint Harbour Authority and the Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company. My efforts have consistently driven organisational improvement, stakeholder trust, and sustainable development.I hold a Chartered Director status from the Institute of Directors and a Master’s degree in Organisational Management from Queens University Belfast.
