• I oversee all aspects of ACCA’s membership recruitment, member services, events, technical services, and IT, refocusing ACCA’s programs to more directly serve the needs of ACCA member contractors. • In my first two years, I helped to reverse a longtime decline in membership, growing it by nearly 25 percent. • As a lifelong conservationist, I am particularly excited to explore new ways for energy efficiency programs and finance regimes to bring both increased business and new revenue streams for ACCA members.

• Developed strategy, systems and materials for a national advocacy campaign that has more than doubled Alzheimer’s research funding since I started – from $991 million to $2.3 billion!• Launched a peer-to-peer member recruitment program that more than tripled membership in our 501(c)4 partner, the Alzheimer’s Impact Movement, in just one year.• Lead the Association’s grassroots training programs and implement grassroots campaigns that complement and enhance the Association's federal and state lobbying efforts.• Revamped our grasstops recruitment and development strategy to cultivate our 535 Alzheimer’s Ambassadors as team leaders and more than double the number of Alzheimer’s Congressional Team members supporting multifaceted relationships with every member of Congress.• Launched the Alzheimer’s State Champion program to replicate the successful Ambassador model in all 50 state legislatures. • Provide guidance, training, systems and support for 85 chapter policy staff members across the country as they pursue these initiatives, reporting some 8,500 legislative meetings, 19,500 other grasstops interactions and more than 180,000 grassroots messages over the past year.• Designed the advocacy training programs and materials delivered to over 1,000 advocates at each of the past three Alzheimer's Association-AIM Advocacy Forums in Washington, DC.

• Through workshops, webinars, coaching, and recognition, I inspired land trust leaders to be more comfortable with and effective at advocating for the policy tools their organizations need.• Launched the new “Land Trust Ambassadors” key contact program, developing marketing materials, systems and training to recruit and onboard the first 75 Ambassadors. • Managed direct lobbying and grasstops advocacy in the Northeast region.• Served as lead lobbyist on federal appropriations; supporting role on tax issues and Farm Bill.• Played major role in successful campaign to enact a billion-dollar conservation tax incentive, securing over 1,200 bill co-sponsors and inspiring at least 75 in-district events over the past eight years.• Served as team leader to launch the first five Land Trust Advocacy Days, which brought nearly 450 land trust leaders to Washington for more than 800 Hill meetings.• Revamped systems for cultivating and tracking land trust relationships with public officials, and for integrating congressional staff contact data into our membership database and communications.• Drafted and coordinated membership communications regarding policy, including a quarterly magazine column, monthly eNews, and frequent action alerts.• Developed and maintained issue updates and advocate toolkits on the Alliance website.• Supervised Public Policy Associate and Government Affairs Interns

• Provided training, resources and action alerts to rejuvenate a coalition of 5,500 organizations and businesses supporting conservation funding on state and federal levels.• Added 3,000 organizations to the coalition by developing a “Coalition Toolkit,” mentoring coalition leaders in every state, coordinating tactical calls, and reaching out to chapters of national organizations.• Coordinated and presented at workshops on coalition building, ballot initiatives, and effective communications -- media trainings helped secure 500+ press hits.• Coordinated logistics for the annual Teaming with Wildlife Fly-In Day, including recruitment, travel, trainings, and lobby materials for 150+ participants and Capitol Hill events featuring live wildlife.• Built support for State Wildlife Grants appropriations by sending action alerts, drafting emails and faxes, coordinating field trips and making hundreds of phone calls to congressional staff.• Collaborated on research, editing and layout for reports and web content.

• Assisted the Senior Director for Congressional and Federal Affairs by drafting and coordinating emails to Hill staff and scheduling and attending lobby meetings• Managed special projects including a sportsmen’s poll on the 2004 election, new Member research, opposition to the William Myers nomination, and outreach to the Congressional Black Caucus• Designed, bid, and implemented an advocacy hotline that delivered 30,000+ constituent calls to Congress
