• Created perovskite photodetectors by solution-shearing to explore novel engineering and chemical additives, resulting in record performance (over a magnitude improvement in responsivity) and stability• Developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for deposition and electrical characterization processes resulting in record photodetector performance • Developed computer programs in R to automatically produce figure of merit graphs resulting in fast interpretation of hundreds of Current-Voltage (IV) datasets• Trained at the Sargent lab in Toronto and documented solar cell fabrication process and lab best practices resulting in perovskite solar cell fabrication and testing • Analyzed perovskite samples at the synchrotron at the Canadian Light Source (CLS) in Saskatoon by Grazing-Incidence Wide-Angle X-ray Scattering (GIWAXS) to determine crystal properties resulting in hundreds of automatically produced patterns (MATLAB)• Trained students on perovskite photodetector preparation and testing and mentored undergraduate students working on independent research projects • Installed chemical inventories, photovoltaic testing systems, spectrofluorometers, and thin film thickness measurement systems
