After a business restructure in late 2021, the duties of my role expanded into stakeholder engagement and communication for multiple MBIE agencies. On the recommendation of my peers, I also decided to move to a senior-level position in my field of experience.I am currently focused on communications strategy and process planning, with a hint of project management. I look for the best ways to get the right information to people, which is something that's more complex than it appears. On a given day, you can find me discussing content and system changes, planning releases, troubleshooting issues, and doing a LOT of writing. I still take complex details and get to translate these into plain English, though, so my favourite part of the job is still there.

Under IPONZ, I was responsible for user support and external communications, and I performed website analytics and business analysis on the side. I provided technical assistance for IPONZ's online systems, oversaw digital channel updates, and tracked feedback and reports.I answered questions, resolved issues, and made sure that people got the help they needed. This included both external customers looking for assistance from our agency, and internal contacts looking for improvements to our operational processes. In order to do this, I consulted with advisors from multiple areas of government, and built good collaborative relationships. By doing this job, I helped a lot of other people do their jobs.

In addition to my Digital Producer duties below, I was part of the Network Operations Team for my account from January 2013 to March 2014. This made me responsible for coordination with local market teams - specifically those located in the Asia-Pacific region - with regards to shared assets and campaigns. As a Network Operations Manager, I made global campaign ideas and assets available for use by local teams, and at the same time communicated the results for successful local campaigns to other markets. My efforts allowed global campaigns to exhibit consistency from country to country, provided good recognition for great ideas and service, and gave local agencies more materials with which to come up with new campaigns.

As a Digital Producer, I was responsible for day-to-day project management and technical operations. On a typical day, you would have found me conducting project briefs, consulting with creative designers, brainstorming campaign ideas, troubleshooting site-related issues, performing in-depth QA, providing status updates, and keeping an eye open for any real-world news that might be significant for my client/s. My background meant that I would occasionally help out with design, coding and copywriting every now and then.I had the pleasure of working for two of Wunderman's local offices - Singapore and Manila - as well as their highly professional team members.I particularly liked my tenure with Wunderman because I got called upon to deal with new situations, new approaches, and new tactics all the time. In fact, my position could best be summed up in a single statement: "Whenever a digital marketing project came around, I was the person who figured out how to make it work."
