In my role as a Business Analyst with Allied Irish Bank, the key highlight was playing an integral role in transitioning a four-year Programme to a Business-as-Usual department. Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, JIRA, Qlikview and SharePoint were used daily. I oversaw the end to end execution of change requests. Most recently, I was the end-to-end lead for a PMO project, whereby I drafted the Project Initiation Document, scheduled and chaired all meetings and prepared status decks.Engaging proactively and effectively with product owners and Subject Matter Expert’s built significant relationships with them.Learning & Development and volunteering is something I am proud of during my time at AIB. I delivered seminars on excel, Lean and communication methods for the wider team and Management. I also voluntarily delivered financial wellbeing workshops to local schools in association with AIB and Junior Achievement. I also represented the wider team at some bank wide events.This role developed my critical thinking, presentation, excel and leadership skills.

As a marketing ambassador at WIT, I was a brand ambassador for the university, appearing on billboards and the website giving testimonials. Mentoring, open day tours and talks to audiences of up to 500 were delivered as well as communicating with local schools to attract potential prospectus students. Being approachable and always wearing the emblem with pride were paramount.

Internship.The key highlight was when I successfully led an integrated marketing campaign to clear excess inventory of used cars. Microsoft Office and Outlook as well as the CRM/ERP system Kerridge were used daily. Invoicing, payments from debtors and following up purchase orders were my main tasks utilising accurate record management, journals, sales & purchase ledgers, spreadsheets and reconciliations. Customers were dealt with via face to face, via email and by phone. Ad hoc administration and reception duties were covered from time to time as were preparing finance prop files to be sent to the bank for finance approvals.

Voluntarily instructed life saving skills and basic life support to groups children both in pools and at sea and coordinated water slots and exams with other instructors.

Christmas staff, stockroom assistant.Performed stockroom assistant duties in a warehouse setting by placing away deliveries efficiently and correctly, ensured shelves were tidy and safety equipment was stored correctly. Picked and delivered stockroom items to customers in a friendly and courteous manner and assisted customers.

Transition Year Work Placement.I shadowed and assisted workers in all areas of the plant (engineering, business, IT, Pharma), performing light duties, attending meetings, taking notes and developing an understanding for processes.
