No, I didn't quit my day job at Capital Group. But those of you that know me, know I've been into Crossfit for the past 4 years and it's definitely changed my life. As co-owner of a small business, it's been an awesome learning experience. I've been involved in everything from establishing the LLC, negotiate lease, setup facility, implement gym operations, coach classes, design and implement website (www.nextlevelcf.com), run marketing promotions, logo and graphics design, using lean startup to test new promotions, programs, and ideas. Social media marketing, advertising, run health and fitness challenges (gamification of fitness and nutrition).

Led QA, Infrastructure and Customer Support functions as well as hands on for startup company and startup environment.

Leader of Marines. My M.O.S (military occupational specialty) was in communications and computers. Did everything from radio, telephones, infrastructure, networking, servers and data centers, satellites, etc… Was an amazing learning experience not just in technology, but in leadership and life.
