As a Deal Sourcing Analyst at Warrington Ventures, I have immersed myself in Gainesville's startup and venture capital ecosystems. As a brother at Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE), a business fraternity specializing in sales and marketing, I have been able to expand my professional network and grow professionally through PSE's six-week professional development program. During my education journey, I worked for 3 years at Sorrento Therapeutics Inc. a biology lab making antibodies for Covid 19. There I purified DNA yields that were used in Sorrento’s Covid 19 antibody. I also organized a physical library with over 300 labeled conicals of DNA yields and made an Excel spreadsheet to pair with it. Finally, I gained experience analyzing data from Cell Count, Octet, and Nanodrop machines after being trained to operate the machines, and assisted in training 2 new interns. My education journey also brought me to the luxury real estate scene in Rancho Santa Fe, California. There, I interned under the Jason Barry Team of Barry Estates, where I shadowed brokers as they led open houses for clients, opened and closed 10 houses, and administered 20 phone calls to obtain information on golf membership pricing to forward to clients. Currently, I am working as a Deal Sourcing Analyst for Warrington Ventures, where I am conducting due diligence on 5 startups for the I-Street Innovator Series we are launching at the University of Florida. I am improving my professional network through the connections I have made as a brother at Pi Sigma Epsilon and practicing my sales skills by helping sell over $300 worth of pizza and candy for our capstone project.
