Sean (Yi-Hsiang) Lo received his first M.S. degree from National Tsing Hua University, where he conducted research in computer graphics under Prof. Ruen-Rone Lee and Prof. James Hung-Kuo Chu in the Computer Graphics and Vision Lab. From 2014 to 2017, he worked as an intern and software engineer on the camera team at MediaTek. He then pursued further studies in robotics, artificial intelligence, and computer vision at Rutgers University, earning his second M.S. degree in computer science in 2020.Currently, Sean is a Graphics System Engineer at Qualcomm, where he has developed Qualcomm Adreno GPU drivers, mainly focusing on Vulkan and DX12, delivered next-generation Adreno GPU hardware features for pre-silicon verification, and implemented Vulkan extensions. Sean is passionate about multimedia, including computer graphics, non-photorealistic rendering, geometry processing, image/video processing, computer vision, and data visualization. He has a keen interest in the Vulkan API and attends SIGGRAPH every year.
