Sales development• To promote the company’s name, services and reputation in handling project cargo business nationwide and regionally• To implement the company’ sales plan for bulk, break-bulk, oversized and project cargo targeting all fabricating and engineering companies from all over industrial zones and parks in Vietnam• Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to achieve the potential bid opportunities and support as required for new project business or project targets• Coordinate and develop project team, sales & operation activities with GM Ocean Freight• Market research and competitor analysis• To gain new project business and increase the revenue and profit associated to such• Maintaining and establishing good relationship with existing customers and partner organizations• Create and be accountable for all client offers and contracts• Procurement & contract negotiations with all required subcontractors to enable best buying practicesChartering• To identify chartering opportunities for the company’s shipments and evaluate potential returns of relevant voyages.• Source suitable tonnage at lay can and loading port for the company’s clients• Negotiate terms and conditions of booking/fixture notes• Be responsible for voyage calculation and laytime, demurrage, detention calculation when required• To prepare booking or fixture notes reflecting agreed terms as per full recap and make sure same are timely signed, stamped Owners and Charterers• To ensure that ocean freight and commission payments are accurate and made timely• To track market trends in MPP, breakbulk and bulk sectors and disseminate relevant information to GM Ocean Freight and GD• To coordinate with brokers and develop an effective network of brokers providing timely, useful and accurate information to company, its clients and agents• Be responsible for post-fixture workPropose and develop new services
